Earlier this year, my wife brought up the fact that we had not been on a family vacation in quite some time. She reminded me that our kids aren’t going to be young forever, and the day will eventually come when they won’t really want to go on family vacations anymore (because it will no longer be cool to them). Since I knew she was right, I got online to find a fun place for us to visit, and eventually picked Indianapolis as the destination for our family vacation.

If you have never been to Indianapolis before, there are a lot of fun things to do there. Although we picked a lot of family destinations, there are plenty of fun attractions for adults if you were going alone or just with your significant other.

Whether you are going with your kids or just your significant other, one thing I would recommend is getting a rental car. Indianapolis is a big city, and trying to get around without a rental car would definitely be a major pain. Also, if you make your reservation online, you can save yourself a good amount of money.
