Although it has been nearly a decade since I have lived in Indianapolis, it is the city that I will always call my home. The reason for this is not only did I grow up in Indianapolis, but it is still the city where my parents live (along with several of my other family members).
Since I have a great relationship with my parents and the other family members I have in Indianapolis, I try to visit there as often as possible. Even though I don’t get to go there as often as I like (since my job is quite demanding and it’s simply not possible for me to take vacations on a regular basis), I always make the most of my time in Indianapolis.
My next trip to Indianapolis is planned for the end of April. However, my parents don’t think that I will be returning until the end of the summer. In order to fully surprise them, I am going to pick up a car rental in Indianapolis so I will be able to show up at their house completely unannounced!
